The 7th Ethio-Canadian bilateral consultation is underway in Ottawa, Ethiopian News Agency reported citing Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ethiopia spokesperson office.
Ethiopian delegates under Nebiyat Getachew, American Affairs Directorate in the Ministry, met with Ian Shugart, deputy ministry of Global Affairs Canada.
Economic Cooperation and Diplomatic ties are among agenda items for the dialogue, according to ENA report. As well, current affairs are discussed.
Diplomatic relation between Ethiopia and Canada stretches back to 1962. Canada is one of the major donor countries to Ethiopia.
