The administration before Abiy Ahmed was known for prevalent human rights violations but not all the violations were recorded as many Ethiopians have been claiming in the past.
Yesterday, Ethiopians were shocked by the news human remains were uncovered from that Harari region police commission in South Eastern Ethiopia.
The remains were uncovered in the premise of the police commission and also in the store of the office.
The region’s security and justice head reportedly confirmed the news to the region’s Communications Affairs head, as per a report by Wazema radio.
An investigation is already underway.
US-based Ethiopian Satellite Television reported today that the region’s police commander, Nesru Ali, is in custody in connection with the development that socked Ethiopians.
