Days after the Ethiopian Defense Force took control of Mekelle, Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed appeared before the House of Peoples representatives to address questions.
Abiy Ahmed used to take pride in the reform work in the Defense Force. And one of the questions he faced today is that how come that the Northern Command was attacked if the reform work was successful?
He also faced a question why his government is not outlawing Tigray People’s Liberation Front (TPLF) and Oromo Liberation Front (OLF) as terrorist organizations? The remarks are given considering the dozens of massacres of innocent civilians in different parts of the country. However, parliamentarians did not get a response from the prime minister in that regard.
