Senior TPLF official,Addisalem Balema,lost a court case in Virginia, USA, against US based Ethiopian activists as the court dismissed the case, reported Ethiopian Satellite Television (ESAT).
Addis Alem Balema sued Tewodros Kabtyimer and his friends for assault in a court at Loudoun County Courthouse after
the activists confronted him at the Dulles International Airport to protest TPLF government widespread attack on human rights in Ethiopia. They yelled at him “You are a murderer. You are a killer. You are a genocider,” according to ESAT report.
ESAT reported added that “Balema was reportedly unable to identify his alleged abuser from a set of photos and videos. He said he could not remember the faces of the protesters as he was ‘ambushed’. ” From ESAT’s report, Addisalem Balema was unable to answer questions when cross examined in court.
In the past one year alone, well over 1000 civilians are killed in different parts of Ethiopia.
